Site thirteen is located in Aalto University, Finland and operated in collaboration with Open Forest Collective. The network camera is situated amidst a decaying wood artwork in the University’s Otaniemi campus, which is made up of two old linden tree trunks in poor condition. Although the old trees had received many measures to preserve them, including several tree surgeries, condition studies established that they were rotten and a safety risk for the environment.
